How do you implement a digital practice? Do building owners realize the value of building information modeling (BIM)? Should BIM be standardized or governed?

Alex Jonovski, managing principal of Levcon Analytics, and guest Brent Mauti, chief technology officer and senior associate at Turner Fleischer Architects, discuss the creation of the Digital Practice Department (DPD) at Turner Fleischer and how it’s redefined the way they work. With a team of 10 people, the DPD focuses on the digitization of parts of the practice, technologies, workflows, and research and development, as well as managing the BIM process and how it’s done.

A practicing architect, Mauti is a recognized expert in the industry, with over 20 years designing and managing high-profile projects, in a range of sectors, combined with a history of governance over the implementation and manipulation of technology at the global level.
